The Morota lab is located in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on the East Campus. Our lab has close ties with other Animal Genetics faculty in the areas of molecular genetics, functional genomics, breeding and quantitative genetics.
We are always seeking vibrant and motivated individuals to join our lab.
The ideal candidate will have a quantitative background and experience with analyzing large genomic data-sets.
Strong programming skills and familiarity with major bioinformatics tools are essential.
